ATR President Michael Hoover Welcomes Industry Leaders In Texas

ATR Systems just spent a week in Grapevine, Texas, networking with the industry’s best and brightest at the 35th Annual Independent Time and Labor Management Conference & Expo. President Michael Hoover, who serves at the trade organization’s vice president, kicked off the conference and welcomed the group’s members.
“This is the first year the ITLMA partnered with the American Payroll Association for its annual conference,” Hoover said. “The partnership not only increases awareness of the ITLMA, but helps create needed synergy between payroll, human resources and time and labor management. There’s a lot more integration than there was in the past. There are more companies that provide these multiple services.”
More than 2,000 APA members attended the conference while more than 100 businesses participated in the 3-day-long expo. Attendees discussed the growing trend of cloud-based systems and issues such as the Affordable Care Act, in which vendors gained information on how to help clients comply. During the conference’s PechaKucha Night, speakers gave short, entertaining presentations about their products and services.
ATR Systems looks forward to next year’s ITLMA conference, scheduled for May 13-17, 2014, in Minneapolis, Minn.
